I would like to update you on the recent Police action in New Ash Green.

Following a report from a member of the public regarding suspected drug-related activity, officers from the Local Policing Team attended the area promptly. An individual was located and searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act. A significant quantity of controlled substances and other items linked to drug supply were recovered.

The person was arrested on suspicion of Possession With Intent to Supply. This swift action demonstrates our commitment to tackling drug-related crime and keeping our communities safe.

Items recovered included:

Multiple bags of suspected Class A and Class B drugs

Nitrous oxide canisters

Cash and mobile phones believed to be linked to supply
