Safer Business Action Week

👮‍♂️👥 Officers from the local policing team and Street Ambassadors have been out visiting multiple stores this week as part of Safer Business Action Week.

We’ve been encouraging retailers to report thefts and suspicious activity, while also sharing safeguarding advice to help protect staff, customers, and stock. These visits are all about strengthening partnerships, improving communication, and making our business communities safer and more resilient.

By encouraging accurate and timely reporting, we can better identify patterns, hold offenders to account, and pursue prosecutions where appropriate—ensuring those responsible face consequences for their actions.
