Anti-bullying Week

Good Morning Resident

This morning I attended St Katherines Primary school in Snodland and delivered an assembly to the entire school from year 1-6. 

We discussed what bullying is and how it affects people. How to make better choices and the importance of kindness and we spoke about friendships and kind acts we can all do to help others. 

There were approximately 350 children present and the engagement was fantastic. Many pupils contributed ideas on how to support others and protects themselves.  

All the children were exceptionally well-behaved and listened attentively. These conversations are vital in helping young people reflect on how their actions can have positive or negative impacts on those around them. 

I look forward to working with the school again in the future about other important topics.
