Safer Business Week

Officers from the Neighbourhood Task Force (NTF) and the Beat Team carried out an operation in Ramsgate today (12th November) as part of Safer Business Week. Officers working in small teams produced some positive results including the following:

5 people were searched for drugs or for items related to Theft offences.

1 person was issued a Community Resolution for Possession of Cannabis.

4 people were dealt with for no driving licence/ no insurance.

1 vehicle was seized for no insurance.

3 persons were arrested for various offences including Harassment, Shoplifting, and Possession of a Bladed Article.

The NTF officers had also assisted Trading Standards earlier in the day at two business for checks in Margate where approx. £30,000 worth of illegal items were seized at one of the addresses.
