Dealing with Off-Road Bikes

Due to complaints regarding off-road bikes around the area of WALDERSLADE, local CSU officers from MAIDSTONE recently worked with CSU officers from MEDWAY on a day of action targeting them. One rider was stopped and issued a S59 warning that means if his bike is used again to cause ASB it will be seized. Officers conducted a high visibility patrols on foot and in marked vehicles around hotspot areas and captured images of riders who will be identified and dealt with at a later date. Additionally, vans that pulled up to use off-road vehicles in green spaces were prevented from off-loading and their details taken. Lastly, one vehicle was seized. Officers will continue to work on this issue.
