Knife Bin Locations


Thanet Community Safety unit are committed to reducing knife crime in Thanet, keeping the area safe for it's residents and visitors.

We now have 17 knife amnesty bins located across Thanet for anyone wishing to dispose of any knives. They are emptied regularly, are bright orange and can be located at:

 

RAMSGATE:

Boundary Road junction of Hardres Road

Maderia Walk junction of Albion Hill

St Johns Avenue Newington (near The Spar shop)

High Street St. Lawrence (near Forge Lane)

Train Station (near the alley, Station Approach Rd)

 

MARGATE:

Ethelbert Crescent junction of Dalby Square

Marine Drive (by the Victorian Shelter)

Dane Park near the junction of Hastings Avenue

Canterbury Road near the junction of Waverly Road

St. Pauls Church, Northdown Road

Northdown road outside Tesco

Train Station junction of Buenos Ayres.

 

BROADSTAIRS:

Pierremont Park near the Pierremont Avenue entrance

John Street near the Charles Dickens Pub
High Street junction of Lloyd Road

 

OTHER LOCATIONS:

Station Road Westgate opposite junction of Ethelbert Square

Station road Birchington near Sainsbury's
