Dear Resident,

 

A man was found badly injured outside of woodland near Tunbridge wells following a suspected assault. He had been located by a member of public in a in a “confused and distressed state” on a footpath in Rusthall.

 

The man, aged in his 20s, is believed to have been the victim of a serious assault that took place during the evening of Thursday 23rd January. 

 

We believe the victim was assaulted between 7pm and 8:30pm and are working to establish the full circumstances. 

“It is crucial to our investigation that we speak to anyone who may have walked in this area during this time, or who thinks they may have seen or heard anything suspicious.”

 

If you have CCTV/dashcams which could have recorded between these hours please make contact for police to review.
