RTC - A228 SNODLAND

There has been an accident on the A228, after a vehicle travelled the wrong way along the road, ultimately causing an accident with an oncoming vehicle. PC WARNER and I attended alongside local response units where traffic management was conducted and several motorists were turned around and sent on their way via alternative routes. Luckily, nobody was seriously hurt. The road is currently blocked so there is a delay in travelling at the moment. With a bit of luck, the road will be open very soon.

Please be careful when driving out there, especially when the weather conditions aren't optimal.

Thank you.
