Dear Resident

A stray dog was located by members of public on Old Ferry Road, Sittingbourne yesterday afternoon.  The dog warden collected the dog and took it straight to the vet as it appeared injured.  It is the vet's opinion that this dog had been hit to the head with a sharp edged object such as a shovel.  Thankfully the dog has been operated on and is now recovering.  If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact the RSPCA using the following link:  https://www.rspca.org.uk/reportaconcern or call the police on 101 and quote KP-20250317-1046.

If you have lost a dog and fear that this might be your dog, please contact Swale Borough Council and quote 25/503817/DCSTRAY as the dog, whilst recovering, is remaining with the vet's it was taken to for the time being.

Kind regards,

Jez
