General update - Capel & Paddock Wood

Dear Residents.

Apologies for the lack of an update over the last 3 weeks or so. I'd like to take this opportunity to give you a quick update on the areas in which you live, work or visit. This platform gives me the opportunity to update you all on the progress that is being made over your areas. A lot of work has gone into both Capel & Paddock Wood since the last ‘My Community Voice’ update and I hope the following statistics will show you a reflection of the work that is being put into both of your areas by Kent Police.

Difference in the number of calls received by Kent Police between 01/01/2025 and today:

Down by 192 calls overall.

Involvement in crime reports (Follow up's, enquiries, etc):

144.

Number of calls that I have directly been involved in (Follow up's, attendance, enquiries, etc):

109.

Community Protection Warnings or Notice's issues:

2. (14 issued last year).

Vehicle seizures by myself (not including other officers patrolling the area):

2.

I will continue to strive towards reducing anti-social behaviour, crime and incidents in the area. Whilst I will not get the opportunity to write about all the different things I have been involved with over the last 3 weeks or so, I will say that a number of youths involved in ASB have been identified. These youths have either been dealt with or will be in the near future. I hope to get the opportunity to update you more frequently in the near future.

As always please ensure that anything you believe to be necessary is reported to Kent Police via the appropriate channels.

999 - Emergency.

101/Online Reporting/Kent Police live chat - Non-emergency.

I hope you all have a great weekend and thank you once again for your continued support and assistance.

Kind regards,

PC Connor Geelan.

Beat Officer - Capel & Paddock Wood.
