FREE BIKE MARKING EVENT : Thu 29 May 10:00

Dear local residents,

Queenborough, Rushenden and Halfway’s local beat police officer PC HANNAH SAVAGE and Kent County Council Community Warden DAVE OSBOURNE, in conjunction with Queenborough Town Council are holding a free bike marking event- open to all, adults and children. The event is being held at KING GEORGE V PLAYING FIELDS QUEENBOROUGH- closest road name is CASTLEMERE AVENUE.

The benefits of bike marking are that if a stolen bike is recovered, a unique mark can help police identify its owner and return the bike. It also makes it harder for stolen bikes to be passed on and acts as a deterrent to those thinking of stealing a bike.

Although this is a bike marking event- we will be there to speak with local residents about any concerns or issues you may have or would like to raise with us. We will have a selection of leaflets relating to mental health, welfare and preventing violence against women and girls

Please share this to anyone you know with a bike, or just pop down and say hello!

Thank you,

PC Hannah Savage
