999BSL - Emergency Video Relay Service For Deaf People

Good afternoon,

999 BSL is the UK’s first emergency video relay service designed specifically for British Sign Language (BSL) users. It’s a free online platform that enables deaf individuals to contact emergency services through a BSL interpreter, using either a smartphone app or a web browser.

This ensures that BSL users have equal access to emergency services. 999BSL is regulated by Ofcom and aims to remove communication barriers in critical situations for British Sign Language users

Thank you

Kind regards,
