Bike Marking Event, Tunbridge Wells 12/07/25

Today the PCSO's from the Neighbourhood Task Force ran a successful Bike Marking Event outside The Amelia Scott Centre from 09:30-12:30.  We marked 34 bikes for free that will all now be placed on the National Bike Register.  This is to reduce the risk of theft of bikes in the Tunbridge Wells area and increase the chances of recovering your bike if it is stolen.

The Community Safety Unit plan to run future events like this one - Look out on ‘My Community Voice’ for more information.  To find out more about the National Bike Register please visit The National Cycle Database | BikeRegister

We would like to say a big Thank You to Ben Chapelard, Leader of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, for supporting the event by bringing his bike along to be marked and for promoting the event through the Council.

We also completed a number of ‘My Community Voice’ sign-ups, promoting the benefits of the initiative.
