LOCAL BEAT OFFICER UPDATE

Hello All,

Over the last 2 weeks both PC BROWN and I have been very busy dealing with nuisance youths incidents in Larkfield, West Malling and East Malling. We have increased patrols in these areas and have chased off a number of youths on E-Bikes. We have also been out on foot around Leybourne Lakes due to recent reports of unscrupulous adult behaviour on the public foot paths. There have been a number of vehicle thefts in Aylesford, Larkfield and Ditton area so please ensure your vehicles are locked and the keys are kept in a faraday pouch away from the front door. Also consider investing in a full steering lock. They are expensive but worth the money. 

Both PC BROWN and I have attended over 20 incidents (not including our normally day to day activity). These included a number of disturbances in Larkfield and Tunbridge Wells, Criminal damage in Kings Hill, broken down vehicles and road traffic collisions in Sevenoaks along with various other incidents. 

I am not in over the next two weeks however PC BROWN will be filling in where he can. Both PC BROWN and I also attended the fete in East Malling and sighed up a further 25 people to my community voice while engaging with young children who sat in the police car.
