HEATHFARMBURY

Today the Child Centred Police Team was invited to an event called HEATHFARMBURY which was an event for young people in emergency foster care, due to the nature of the event CCPT was asked to go in plain clothes but still provide a vehicle for the young people to interact with.

This event looked like it was going to be uneventful due to the adverse weather but just before the event was going to start the sun came out and the event went ahead, The CCPT team engaged with young people and were challenged to climb on the climbing wall, the young people also got a chance to use the lights and sirens, they were shown the equipment in the car such as the shields, cones and road signs, and a resus dummy to practice performing CPR on, One young person even completed the Police bleep test so well done to them.
