VAWG walk and talk - Tonbridge : Sat 20 Dec 17:00

Dear Resident,

We would love to speak with you on Saturday the 20th December between 5pm and 7pm at Tonbridge War Memorial. Officers will be there to discuss violence again women and girls (VAWG) and want to discuss any issues that anyone has in Tonbridge, particularly those that make you feel unsafe. 

On our last VAWG event, people explained to us that they have been refused short trips by taxi drivers in Tonbridge and therefore felt unsafe walking home at night. We have been completing spot checks and working hard with the council licencing team to ensure that this no longer happens. 

Please come and have your say, as this can ensure that we prioritise what is most important to you and ensure that you both are, and feel safe in Tonbridge.
