Fraud & Scams Awareness Session – Prospect Place, Gillingham |

On 21 January 2025, the local Beat Officer and the Kent Police Fraud Prevention Coordinator visited Prospect Place, Gillingham to deliver an important Fraud & Scams awareness session to residents. We discussed the latest scam trends, how fraudsters target vulnerable individuals, and the steps we can all take to stay protected. Every attendee received a copy of The Little Book of BIG SCAMS to support ongoing awareness.
Key messages included: 🔹 Take Five to STOP Fraud – pause, challenge, and protect Engagements like this are vital in helping us safeguard vulnerable members of our community and empower residents to stay vigilant.
