Local Ashford officers hit the roads for a traffic day of action after residents raised concerns about safety — and it paid off. 🚓✨
We issued Traffic Offence Reports (including speeding, bald tyres and no insurance), seized vehicles — even one whose owner seemed surprised that “forgetting” to tax it doesn’t make it tax‑free - and educated drivers on safely using our roads in Ashford.

One driver who tried to run from police clearly didn't want our advice and even attempted a climb a fence to get away… but gravity and quick‑moving officers won that race, and he will soon be facing a court date. Another was stopped after a strong smell of cannabis coming from his vehicle, which was later found during a search. The driver failed a drug wipe at the roadside, and was arrested — likely waving goodbye to his licence soon.
