🚸 Parking Safety Near Edenbridge Primary School 🚸

We have recently been made aware of concerns about dangerous and inconsiderate parking near Edenbridge Primary School at the end of the school day.

Following these reports, we have been in contact with the school and Civil Enforcement Officers at Sevenoaks District Council and officers have also attended the area during school pick‑up times to monitor the situation.

We would like to remind parents, carers, and drivers of the importance of parking responsibly and observing road parking restrictions. Poor parking can significantly restrict visibility, block pavements, and limit safe access for children and their parents — particularly at busy drop‑off and pick‑up times.

Pavements must remain clear to allow children, pushchairs, and those with mobility needs to pass safely. Illegally or inconsiderately parked vehicles can force pedestrians into the road and reduce drivers’ ability to see children crossing.

Everyone has a role to play in keeping the school run safe. Please park considerately, allow extra time for your journey, and help protect the safety of children and the wider community.
