Speed Checks Conducted

This week, PC Latter, PC Cartwright and PC Whitehead carried out speed checks in Horsmonden and Lamberhurst as part of ongoing work to improve road safety.

These checks are being conducted in response to community concerns and are aimed at reducing excessive speed, improving safety for pedestrians and residents and encouraging responsible driving through residential areas

Please remember: 

Observe posted speed limits
Drive with extra care through villages
Look out for pedestrians, cyclists, and vulnerable road users

Officers are able to issue Traffic Offence Reports to drivers who are caught exceeding the speed limit and this can result in fines and points on driving licences.
