RE: Burglary reported in Herne Bay

Dear Resident,

On 29th April 2026 between 10:00 Hours and 11:00 Hours, a burglary at a residential property was reported to police in the Bullockstone Road area of Herne Bay. Officers attended shortly afterwards and inquiries are currently ongoing.

In the meantime, we would like to remind residents of the following crime‑prevention advice:

Please ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your property and overnight.

If you have CCTV or a video doorbell, check that it is working correctly and that it covers key areas such as doors, driveways, and rear access points.

Keep valuables out of sight, particularly near windows and doors.

If you witnessed anything suspicious around the time of the incident, or have CCTV or doorbell footage that may assist our investigation, please report this to us either via the Kent Police website, 101 or replying to this message.
