Engagement Meeting Update

Good afternoon,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who attended the recent engagement meeting at HatHats (Heron Leisure Centre) in Herne Bay. It was great to meet you all, and your time and input are truly appreciated.

In particular, thank you for bringing to our attention concerns around youths using catapults in the area. The information you provided is extremely helpful and allows us to better understand local issues and take appropriate action. Engagement like this plays a vital role in helping us make the community a safer place for everyone to live.

Local officers will be conducting patrols in the key areas highlighted and will we continue working closely with residents to address these concerns and improve safety across the community.

I would also like to encourage all residents to continue to come forward with any information or concerns you may have. Reporting incidents and sharing intelligence—no matter how small it may seem—helps us build a clearer picture and enables us to respond effectively.
