Update for your area

Dear all residents,

Here is a quick update on what we have been doing in your area recently:

We recently attended a location near Bloxham Avenue regarding an unauthorised encampment. Prior to this, PC Geelan had stopped some people from gaining access to another field within Paddock Wood. This has now been made secure. Unfortunately, it seems they returned the following day and set up camp on a different field near Bloxham Avenue. PC Scudder engaged with the landlord as well as bailiffs. As a result, we were able to arrange a prompt and swift response to have them moved on. They have since been moved off the site and have left Paddock Wood.

We have carried out enquiries following reports of a group of youths using catapults in the area. This has caused significant concern for local residents with reports suggesting they have been harming wildlife. No offenders have been identified at this time however work is ongoing to identify those involved. Possible images of the individuals have recently been received and we will be looking to deal with this matter promptly.

PC Geelan also stopped individuals using catapults in relation to a similar incident to the one described above. They have been identified and are being issued with Anti-Social Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) for their behaviour.

High-visibility patrols will continue to reassure residents and deter further anti-social behaviour. This includes issues such as nuisance bikes, graffiti, catapults etc.
