Further eScooters Seized |
||
|
Good afternoon Resident,
For the past couple of shifts officers have been looking for nuisance vehicles and following up calls received about these problems via our Force Control Incident Room. On Friday 22nd officers have seized an eScooter and another today in Minster-on-Sea. The eScooter seized today was very heavy (photo attached) and if the driver had struck a member of the public then they could have caused all manner of injuries.
Kent Police take reports of nuisance vehicles seriously and are aware of the impact these have on residents. If you see persons driving illegal vehicles like eScooters, eBikes, motorbikes, quadbikes etc then please report this via 999 (if life or property at risk), 101, live chat or the online reporting function on the Kent Police website
Over the summer months your beat officers from across the island will be working together on operations to target and seize nuisance vehicles.
Kind regards, PC 15048 Marshall & PC 15100 Saddington
