Swift response in relation to a report of stalking

Dear Resident, 

Your neighbourhood policing team responded promptly this week after receiving a report that a resident was being shouted at and harassed outside their home by a male known to them. The suspect fled before officers arrived, but thanks to proactive patrol work and local knowledge, officers quickly located him walking nearby.

Following the arrest, he was issued with a Domestic Violence Protection Notice (DVPN). This is a notice issued by a court which prohibits him from contacting the victim for 30 days. Any breach of these conditions will result in immediate arrest.
