Police Action Taken Against Anti-Social Vehicle Activity 🚓

We wanted to update residents following police activity overnight on Friday 19 June into Saturday morning, where officers carried out proactive patrols across Wigmore, Hempstead and surrounding areas.

We are aware of ongoing concerns around anti-social driving and car meet gatherings, and I’m pleased to confirm that:

Due to proactive patrols and early intervention, Community Safety Officers were able to prevent larger gatherings forming and reduce disruption to the community.

Work is continuing behind the scenes, including reviewing footage and progressing further offences where appropriate.

We understand the impact this type of behaviour has on residents and will continue to carry out targeted patrols and enforcement.
