What have we been up to?

Dear Resident

Over the past month or so, your local officers have been very busy targetting the concerns you have raised. Just because you haven't seen us, it does not mean we have not been taking action.

3 E-scooters have been seized

2 x S59 Warning issued - these are given to those who have been driving/riding anti-socially. If you get 2, we can seize your vehicle.

1 x E-bike has been seized - this bike had been travelling up the high street over a period of days, going against the flow of traffic

1 x Stolen Motorbike recovered

1 x Arrest for breach of Stalking Prevention Order

1 x Arrest for racially aggravated public order.

2 x Community Protection Warnings have been given out to those who have been causing harassment, alarm and distress to your local community. 

We have also held and attended community events in Rochester and the Warren Wood area. We have given out over 10 recruitment packs, personal safety alarms and much more.

Myself and your local councillors attended a variety of shops in Rochester High Street, and identify safe spaces for those who are travelling and may need assistance. 

Ongoing conversations are being had with Medway Council around fly-tipping and bin collections along the high street.
