Joint Working with Licensing Team

After catching a group of youths drinking in the Bearsted Woodland Trust I discovered one of them had purchased alcohol whilst underage. This led to me investigating one of the shops selling alcohol on the Ashford Road. I referred this onto our Licensing team who, following a full investigation, have issued a letter under the Licensing Act which is currently under review to promote more careful sales.

This is another way that working with other agencies and departments can help to reduce anti-social behaviour.
