Nuisance Vehicle and Catapult seized following anti-social behaviour

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team were conducting proactive patrols in the Elwick Road area of Ashford when they spotted a 16-year-old male riding a modified mini moto in an anti-social manner.
 

The rider attempted to evade officers and conceal his identity by wearing a balaclava, but following a short foot chase through the Memorial Gardens he was detained. A search of the individual resulted in the seizure of a catapult. 
 

The male has been issued with a Community Protection Warning (CPW), which includes conditions prohibiting him from riding nuisance vehicles, possessing catapults, and associating with certain groups linked to anti-social behaviour and committing anti-social behaviour. Any breach of these conditions could result in a Community Protection Notice (CPN), prosecution, arrest, or a financial penalty.
 

The mini moto has been seized and will be destroyed due to no insurance.
