Local Officers at the Gurdwara

Community engagement remains at the heart of neighbourhood policing.

On 27th September 2026, Medway Neighbourhood Policing Team officers visited the local Gurdwara to meet the newly appointed President and Committee members, while also taking the opportunity to engage with members of the Sikh community.

The visit allowed officers to discuss local issues, build on existing relationships, and hear directly from community members about matters important to them. These conversations help us better understand the needs of our diverse communities and work together to keep Medway a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

A big thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and hospitality. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with the Sikh community.
