Halloween Trick-or-Treat Posters for Residents |
||
|
As Halloween approaches, many families across our community will be looking forward to taking part in trick-or-treating and other seasonal activities.
To help ensure Halloween is enjoyable, safe and respectful for everyone, we have attached two posters for residents to display in a front window or on their door: ✅ Trick or Treaters Welcome - for households happy to receive visitors. ❌ No Trick or Treating Please - for households who would prefer not to be disturbed.
These posters provide a clear indication of residents' wishes and can help reduce unwanted doorstep calling, minimise potential nuisance, and prevent misunderstandings during what can be a busy evening in our neighbourhoods.
We would encourage parents and children taking part in trick-or-treating to only visit homes displaying a "Trick or Treaters Welcome" poster and to respect households displaying a "No Trick or Treating Please" poster.
Please also take a moment to consider your neighbours, particularly those who may be elderly, vulnerable, live alone, have young children, work shifts, or simply prefer not to take part. Some residents may not have access to a printer, so if you are printing a poster for yourself, please consider asking nearby neighbours whether they would like a copy too. A small gesture can help everyone clearly communicate their preferences and enjoy a more considerate Halloween.
A few simple steps can help make the evening safer and more enjoyable for everyone:
By working together and respecting each other's wishes, we can help make Halloween a positive experience for all members of our community.
Thank you for your support, and we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Halloween.
