🎃 Halloween Safety Reminder 🎃

🎃 Halloween Safety Reminder 🎃

Hello Resident,

With Halloween fast approaching, we often see an increase in anti-social behaviour within our communities. We want everyone to enjoy the festivities safely and respectfully.

If you have young children:
• Never let young children go trick or treating on their own.
• Make sure they only visit people known to your family.

If you have teenagers:
• Make sure they are not going to be using alcohol, flour or eggs.
• Make it clear that if a ‘no trick or treat’ sign is displayed, they should leave straightaway.
• Make sure they do not travel alone and never go into the home of someone they do not know.

If you would prefer not to receive trick-or-treaters, consider displaying a visible "No Trick or Treat" sign. I have attached one at the bottom of this message that you can print out.

Residents are encouraged to ensure their homes and vehicles are secure and to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour, criminal damage, or threatening behaviour to Kent Police.

Kind regards
