I wanted to provide a brief update for residents.

Although I have been busy over the past month, much of my time has been spent supporting wider policing demands across the region and nationally. As a result, I have been away from the area more than I would have liked.

Despite this, I have continued to monitor local concerns and work with colleagues to ensure issues are being addressed. Thank you for your understanding, and please continue to get in touch with any concerns or information you would like to share.

Over recent weeks, we have continued to target nuisance vehicles in the area during both daytime and evening patrols. This proactive activity has resulted in a number of positive outcomes, including the seizure of vehicles, the issuing of traffic offence reports for offences such as driving without insurance, and several stop searches linked to suspected drug offences.

I appreciate that nuisance vehicles remain an ongoing concern for many residents. Please be assured that we will continue to take action against those who choose to offend and cause disruption within the community.
