🚓🌟 Community Engagement Event in Westgate! 🌟🚓

Today, officers were delighted to attend a fantastic multi-agency community event in Westgate, working alongside colleagues from a range of partner organisations including the 🏛️ Council, 🚒 Fire & Rescue Service, 🚑 Community First Responders, and many more.

It was great to speak with so many residents from the local area, as well as visitors who had travelled from across Thanet to come along and meet us. 🤝😊

This follows a similar successful event held in Birchington a few months ago, and it was particularly encouraging to hear that some people attended today's event specifically because they wanted the opportunity to engage with us and learn more about the work we do in their communities. 💙

We're also pleased to say that 14 residents signed up to My Community Voice (MCV) today! 📲🎉 We explained how the service helps keep residents informed about local policing activity, crime prevention advice, community events and important updates, and there was lots of interest from those we spoke with.

In addition, we had some valuable conversations around Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), providing advice, education and safeguarding information to help raise awareness and support those who may need it. 🧡

🎄 Looking ahead, we will be attending further community engagement events across the district in the build-up to Christmas. You'll be able to find us at a variety of locations including 🛍️ retail premises, 🏛️ town halls and other community venues, giving even more residents the opportunity to meet their local officers, discuss any concerns and find out more about the support available in their area.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us today. Your feedback, support and engagement are invaluable in helping us keep our communities safe and connected. 🙌
