🌺 Remembrance Sunday in Minster 🌺

🌺 Remembrance Sunday in Minster 🌺

Today, officers were honoured to attend Remembrance services across the district, with my colleague and I proudly representing Kent Police at the service in Minster.

It was inspiring to see so many members of the community come together, alongside local organisations, veterans, service personnel, community groups and representatives from across the village, to pay their respects and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many. It was also wonderful to see the young members of the beavers, cubs and scouts organisation.

❤️ Remembrance is a powerful opportunity to honour those who gave their lives in service, as well as all the men and women who have fought, worked and sacrificed for our country, both past and present.

The service was a wonderful example of community spirit, bringing people together in recognition of dedication, selflessness, courage and sacrifice.

👏 We would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as those who helped ensure the event was conducted safely, respectfully and with the dignity it deserves.

Lest we forget.

"At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them." 🌹
