Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Antisocial behaviour (ASB) - general. Issued 15 October 2025 |
We have been targeting hare coursing and poaching in the local area. One person has received a Community Protection Warning for poaching. This is a formal written warning given by the police or local council when someone’s behaviour is causing problems in the community. It tells the person what behaviour must stop and explains that stronger action can be taken if the behaviour continues. Actioned 15 January 2026 |

Nuisance bikes. Issued 15 October 2025 |
Officers have stopped a bike that had been riding on pavements and putting pedestrians at risk. A tactical stop was carried out and the rider was arrested for several traffic offences. Actioned 15 January 2026 |

Road safety issues. Issued 15 October 2025 |
We have been working with the Special Constabulary to carry out road safety checks, including speed enforcement and speed awareness. We have also given advice to help drivers stay safe and avoid problems. Actioned 15 January 2026 |
