Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Various reports of potential poaching and criminal damage have been reported. PC Beatty is working with the Rural Task Force sharing information and intelligence to help with a cohesive approach. Future operations are planned around rural crime. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Lorry fuel thefts. Issued 15 October 2025 |
No incidents have been reported to Kent Police, however PC Beatty is working closely with Rural Task Force and increased uniformed patrols in hotspot areas for these thefts continue. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Road safety issues. Issued 15 October 2025 |
PC Beatty has conducted high visibility patrolling in a marked vehicle though the villages and roads during the later hours of the evening, between 7pm and 11pm. Multiple vehicles have been stopped and checks conducted on the drivers and the vehicles to ensure they are road legal. Proactive speeding operations are planned in hotspot locations to target speeding and nuisance vehicles. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
