Seasalter
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Road safety issues. Issued 15 October 2025 |
We understand that these issues can affect how safe people feel in their neighbourhoods, especially near homes, schools and busy local roads. PC Powell is aware of the road safety concerns around Joy Lane School. Some of these problems relate to council responsibilities, such as parking rules, and to vehicles parking on or close to junctions along Joy Lane. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
|
E-scooters/nuisance motorcycles. Issued 15 October 2025 |
PC Powell has been advised of some nuisance e-scooter riders in Seasalter so has increased his patrolling in the area to stop and seek to seize these illegal bikes. Despite increased patrolling he has not seen any e-scooters so no seizures have been made. Patrolling will continue. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
|
Antisocial behaviour - general. Issued 15 October 2025 |
PC Powell and PC Clark have been patrolling the areas that the public have raised as hotspots for antisocial behaviour (ASB) along Faversham Road. They have also been working with the council to focus on specific problem locations. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
