Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

Local Priority Issues

Priority Action taken

Antisocial behaviour.

Issued 08 October 2025

PC Andrews held several 'coffee with a cop' events and local surgeries, giving residents the chance to speak directly with their beat officer. She met with local MP Jim Dickson so residents could raise any concerns, receive updates, and get safety advice.

Officers have carried out high‑visibility and plain‑clothed patrols across parks, recreation grounds, and alleyways. This proactive work has helped identify persistent offenders and issue appropriate sanctions under the Antisocial Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

We are continuing to work closely with partners and local stakeholders to reduce the opportunities for antisocial behaviour in the area.

These actions have been shared through My Community Voice (MCV), our free two‑way engagement tool that lets residents receive updates from their local policing team and reply with information, concerns, or questions.

Fly tipping.

Issued 08 October 2025

PC Andrews has also been working closely with partner agencies, including Dartford Borough Council, to tackle ongoing issues in the area. Enforcement action has been taken against those identified as responsible.

By engaging with local landowners, access to secluded locations has been reduced. This has helped prevent repeat offending, including fly‑tipping. Officers have also carried out stop checks on vehicles carrying waste to make sure drivers have the correct documentation.

PC Andrews has seized and recovered several abandoned lorry trailers that were left at the roadside. These were not only unsightly but also posed a significant danger to the public.

These actions continue to support our wider work to reduce antisocial behaviour and keep the community safe. Updates have been shared through My Community Voice (MCV), our free two‑way engagement tool that allows residents to receive local policing updates and share their own concerns or information.

Drug taking.

Issued 08 October 2025

Officers have been working alongside Dartford Borough Council to identify known problem addresses linked to drug use, which goes with antisocial behaviour. Closure orders are being explored and will be sought in the future. High visibility foot patrols of local parks and recreation area's have resulted in stop checks of suspicious persons and Community Resolutions being issued for simple possession of drugs. Officers have also supported our Neighbourhood Task Force in the execution of Drugs Search Warrants which have resulted in the recovery of drugs and drugs paraphernalia.
