Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Drug use. Issued 15 July 2026	Officers carry out regular patrols in areas where drug use has been reported and take action where appropriate. This includes stop and searches where there are lawful grounds, as well as arrests when offences are identified. Reports of drug possession are investigated, and outcomes may include court action or an out-of-court disposal, which is a formal way of dealing with offences without a court hearing when it is considered appropriate. These activities help tackle drug-related harm and respond to concerns raised by local communities. Actioned 30 September 2026

This includes stop and searches where there are lawful grounds and arrests when offences are detected. As a result of this work, one offender was charged with possession with intent to supply drugs, which is an offence where someone is suspected of holding controlled drugs for distribution or sale rather than personal use. Officers continue to patrol areas identified as higher risk to deter offending, gather intelligence and help keep local communities safe. Actioned 30 September 2026

As a result of this work, an illegally used motorcycle was seized and removed from the road. Officers continue to monitor locations where nuisance bikes are reported and take action to help reduce antisocial behaviour, improve road safety and respond to community concerns.
