Road safety issues. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Road safety has been identified as a key priority in the Eastry ward, with concerns about speeding, unsafe driving and the safety of pedestrians. Kent Police will continue to carry out targeted patrols, speed checks and work with road users to encourage safer driving. Officers will also stop vehicles to check that drivers have the correct documents, such as a valid driving licence and insurance, and to make sure vehicles are safe and meet legal standards. By working with partner organisations, police will identify problem areas and take action against those who put others at risk. The community is encouraged to report concerns and share information to help address these issues. Actioned 10 June 2026 |
