Mill Hill
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Dog fouling. Issued 05 November 2025 |
We understand that dog fouling continues to be a concern for local residents, and we are taking active steps to address it. Although enforcement powers sit with the local authority, I work closely with the Environment Improvement Officer (Dog Warden) to identify problem areas and ensure they are dealt with. Actioned 19 January 2026 |

E-scooters. Issued 05 November 2025 |
Kent Police are taking firm action against the illegal use of privately owned e‑scooters on public roads, pavements, and cycle lanes. There are no government‑approved rental trials in Kent, which means privately owned e‑scooters can only be used legally on private land with the landowner’s permission. Actioned 19 January 2026 |

Fly tipping. Issued 05 November 2025 |
We have been working closely with Dover District Council, who are responsible for this issue. Officers have carried out high‑visibility patrols in the affected areas, alongside joint patrols with the Rural Task Force. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
