Guston, Kingsdown & St Margaret's-at-Cliffe
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Local Priority Issues
| Priority | Action taken |
|---|---|
|
Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 05 November 2025 |
We are carrying out regular high‑visibility patrols in the areas where nuisance antisocial behaviour has been reported. Officers are also speaking with local residents to understand who is responsible and to gather information that helps us target our activity more effectively. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
|
Drink/drug driving. Issued 05 November 2025 |
Drink‑ and drug‑driving continues to be a concern for many of our rural communities, and we want to reassure residents that Kent Police is taking firm action to keep rural roads safe. Officers routinely carry out roadside breath tests and drug‑wipe tests in line with established procedures to identify impaired drivers. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
|
E-scooters/bikes. Issued 05 November 2025 |
Officers are taking firm action against the illegal use of privately owned electric scooters (e‑scooters) on public roads, pavements and cycle lanes. As there are no government‑approved rental trials in Kent, privately owned e‑scooters can only be used legally on private land with the landowner’s permission. Officers are stopping and seizing illegally used e‑scooters, and some have been destroyed where necessary. Although we continue to educate riders, persistent misuse means that enforcement is now a priority to keep people safe. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
