Walland & Denge Marsh
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Road safety. Issued 03 October 2025 |
Officers have charged two individuals with drug‑driving, issued several Traffic Offence Reports, and given warnings under Section 59 of the Road Traffic Act to address antisocial driving. A Section 59 warning is issued when a vehicle is driven in a way that causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress or annoyance. If the same person reoffends within 12 months, their vehicle can be seized. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
|
Antisocial behaviour. Issued 03 October 2025 |
Youths involved in antisocial behaviour have been identified in Brookland, and officers have carried out home visits to speak with parents about the issues. This has contributed to a reduction in the number of calls we receive. Lydd has also seen a decrease in reports of antisocial behaviour. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
|
Dog fouling. Issued 03 October 2025 |
Officers are carrying out high‑visibility foot patrols to help identify those responsible. However, enforcement powers for these offences sit with the district council rather than the police. We are aware the issue is continuing and will keep working closely with the community to help identify offenders. Actioned 19 January 2026 |
