Nethercourt
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Drug dealing. Issued 03 November 2025 |
Officers have been tackling drug-related crime, including drug driving. Offenders have been arrested for drug possession and drug driving. Officers have carried out regular stop-and-searches under the Misuse of Drugs Act where there were legal grounds, taking positive action at every stage. Actioned 15 December 2025 |

E-scooters. Issued 03 November 2025 |
We’ve been tackling the illegal use of e-scooters. It’s against the law to ride e-scooters on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes. They can only be used on private land with the landowner’s permission. Kent is not part of any government rental trial, so all e-scooters used in public spaces are illegal. Actioned 15 December 2025 |
|
Homeless/begging. Issued 03 November 2025 |
We are aware that homelessness and begging have been reported in the area. PC Howard has spoken with the winter shelter and local residents to understand the issues and is issuing Community Protection Notices. Where there are legal grounds, suspects will be arrested. With the shelter nearby, PC Howard will keep working with partner agencies to reduce antisocial behaviour. Actioned 15 December 2025 |
