Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Antisocial behaviour. Issued 10 October 2025 |
Officers have taken action at several properties identified as hotspots for antisocial behaviour and have issued multiple closure orders. They are also working closely with the local council to identify people who repeatedly cause problems. This joint work includes extra high‑visibility patrols, support from council‑run CCTV, and further interventions from council and housing officers to help prevent ongoing issues. Nuisance motorbikes. Issued 10 October 2025 |
Officers in north Kent have been taking action to tackle nuisance motorbikes and scooters, which have been causing concern in several areas. In recent weeks, officers have carried out a series of targeted operations. This has led to 17 bikes and scooters being seized and several arrests. Actioned 26 January 2026 |

Littering/fly tipping. Issued 10 October 2025 |
Officers have been working with the council to tackle fly‑tipping in problem areas. New CCTV cameras have been put in place to help identify vehicles and the people responsible. Officers are also using automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras to track the routes these vehicles take, which helps officers locate and prosecute offenders. Actioned 26 January 2026 |
