Strood North and Frindsbury
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Nuisance youths. Issued 24 November 2025 |
We have been carrying out targeted patrols in areas where antisocial behaviour has been reported. We are working with the Child Centred Policing Team to identify the people involved. When needed, we use our antisocial behaviour powers to deal with any problems. We are also working closely with Medway Housing to help manage ongoing issues and support the community. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Nuisance vehicles. Issued 24 November 2025 |
We have used our Section 34 dispersal powers when needed to tackle this issue. A Section 34 dispersal order allows officers to ask people causing or likely to cause antisocial behaviour to leave the area for a set amount of time. If they return, they can be arrested. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
|
Shoplifting. Issued 24 November 2025 |
We have been working closely with local shops to identify the people responsible for shoplifting and to arrest them when needed. This helps make sure they are held to account for their actions. We also work with partner agencies to support regular offenders and guide them away from shoplifting. This helps reduce problems in the long term. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
