Rochester East and Warren Wood
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Drug supply. Issued 19 November 2025 |
We have searched several properties linked to drug supply. This work has helped us break up groups involved in selling illegal drugs and disrupt their activities. There has also been an increase in high visibility patrols across the area. Officers have been gathering important information by staying in close contact with key people and organisations in the community. This includes partners such as the council, housing providers, and other neighbourhood stakeholders. Working together helps us spot problems early and keep the area safer for everyone. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

E-Scooters. Issued 19 November 2025 |
We are carrying out regular high visibility patrols to help stop nuisance road users and people causing antisocial behaviour on open green spaces. We have also run operations with the Road Safety Unit, focusing on removing illegal e-scooters. Even though this problem is still ongoing, we continue to patrol and keep a close eye on hotspot areas to reduce issues and keep the community safe. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Shoplifting. Issued 19 November 2025 |
We have been working closely with shop managers and staff to make sure offenders are identified quickly and arrested. By working together, we can collect and review CCTV footage fast, and regular communication with employees helps us detain suspects at the time. We have also talked with store managers about setting up an operation outside key shops that are often targeted. This operation would help us spot offenders, use stop and search powers when needed, and act as a strong deterrent to prevent crime. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
