Rainham North
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

E-Scooter/E-Bikes. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We have been carrying out high‑visibility patrols in the area. We are working with the community to find out where illegal e‑scooters are being kept and who owns them. We are dealing with any offences we find, giving out Section 59 warnings, and seizing scooters when needed. A Section 59 warning is a formal notice given when a vehicle is used in a way that is careless, inconsiderate, or causes alarm, distress, or annoyance. The warning lasts for 12 months, and if the same person or vehicle behaves in the same way again, the police can seize the vehicle. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Highway obstructions. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We are working with Medway Council to help deal with parking problems in the area. This includes asking them to visit and enforce the parking rules when needed. We are also identifying the people causing the problems and taking appropriate action. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Fly-tipping. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We are working with Medway Council to clear away fly‑tipping and to find out who is responsible. We are using local CCTV to help identify the people involved and make sure they are held to account. We have also asked the council to place a rapid‑deployment camera on a road where there have been problems. This will act as a warning and will help us identify suspects more quickly. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
