Cuxton, Halling and Riverside
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Nuisance vehicles. Issued 04 November 2025 |
We have continued to carry out high‑visibility patrols and enforcement to deal with nuisance vehicles in the area. Officers have taken firm action, including seizing vehicles, issuing Traffic Offence Reports, and giving Section 59 warnings where needed. A Section 59 warning is a formal notice under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, used when a vehicle is being driven in a way that is careless, inconsiderate, or causing alarm, distress, or annoyance. The warning lasts for 12 months, and if the same person or vehicle is involved in similar behaviour again, police have the legal power to seize the vehicle. We have also increased our presence by bringing in additional patrols from our Special Constables, Traffic Team, and Road Safety Unit. These steps help us reduce unsafe and antisocial driving and make the area safer for everyone. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Antisocial behaviour. Issued 04 November 2025 |
We have increased our high visibility patrols and are working closely with Police Community Support Officers to deal with any antisocial behaviour. A dedicated antisocial behaviour car is being used so officers can respond quickly to reports and deal with issues on the spot. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
